The Acting Director of Sports, Alphan Koker has commended the Taekwondo President Oness Johnson, for his tireless efforts to bring the four experts from Korea to Sierra Leone.
He made this statement on Tuesday during the official opening ceremony of training for coaches, referees and beginners at the Judo gym at the National Stadium.
The acting Director called on the other executive members to join Oness Johnson in organizing the sport, as he has been seeing the President alone going about the preparations, the Director went further to state that the Sports Council is ready this time to share the little they have with each and every association that is well structured.

The president of the association, Oness Johnson in his statement, said that they will be extending the training to the provinces but he went further to appeal that presently they need some financial help.
He also revealed that 20 athletes from Freetown
will be taking part and also 10 athletes from
each of the regions.
