The national cycling association will storm Lungi on Sunday with over 30 cyclists countywide to take part in this year’s seventh edition of the Bullom championship.
The competition will attract elite and non elite cyclists, who will cover three laps starting from the airport’s gate to the Ferry Terminal
Speaking to Awoko the Vice President of the association, Elizabeth French, said this year’s competition will be one of the best since the association started organizing such programmes, as most of the cyclists who will be taking part had improved greatly.
She said further that this competition would be organised by the association in partnership with the Sierra Leone Ports Authority (SLPA).
She disclosed that the General Manager of the Sierra Leone Airports Authority is expected to serve as distinguished grand chief patron for the programme.
Elizabeth French also revealed that there would be live commentary from Sky Radio during the competition.
