Three winners of the Airtel Friendsy promotion will today depart the shores of Sierra Leone to watch a life time event of the Nation’s Cup Final held in Gabon and the Manchester United Vs Liverpool game over the weekend.
The Airtel Friendsy promotion which commenced late last year has rewarded several subscribers with fantastic and fabulous prizes ranging from cash in millions, phones and other goodies for participating.
The Commercial Manager of Airtel Sierra Leone Keith Tukei said the promotion was geared towards giving back to loyal subscribers of the Airtel Brand, which demonstrates the company’s commitment in giving back to the communities they operate.
He said Airtel promotions are transparent, fair and impartial which gives equal opportunity to subscribers across the country.
June Rose Johnson Corporate and Communication Manager congratulated the winners on behalf of the winners and called on them to raise the Sierra Leone flag high at the game. Additionally she said Airtel is here to stay and hopes to become the best loved brand by 2015 in Africa.
Rufina Adjivon Tucker of the Corporate and Communications department said the Friendsy promotion is expected to end on 3rd March, 2012 and encouraged subscribers to participate, have the chance to win cash, phones, 3.75G internet and other goodies.
She added that making friends and being friendly with people creates passion and resilience and implored subscribers to participate in the promotion to win a prime land and Le25m cash for start -up followed by daily, weekly and monthly prices.
Rufina encouraged the public to make good use of Airtel products across the country by using voice and data to connect with the rest of the world. She concluded by saying Airtel promises and delivers to the satisfaction of subscribers. She also spoke about the Valentine promotion that gives back to subscribers.
The Managing Director of Airtel Sierra Leone Rajvardhan Singh Bhullar also congratulated the winners who emerged out of millions of subscribers. He commended the efforts of the subscribers to participate which enabled them to win and expressed the company’s determination to win the hearts and minds of the people as the preferable choice of mobile network in the country. He called on the winners to become Ambassadors of Airtel in disseminating the good message of Airtel.
Mohamed Kuyateh of the U and R team congratulated the winners and wished them well during their trip to watch the African’s Nations Cup and the Manchester United Vs Liverpool game in the United Kingdom.
In a brief testimony one of the winners of the African Nations Cup ticket Sony Ramkrishnan said “I am happy to win the Airtel Friendsy promotion and call on the public to join Airtel which is preferably the best network in Sierra Leone.”
Ahmed Ibrahim Elzain won a ticket to watch Manchester United and Liverpool game while Joseph Koroma also won the nations cup ticket. Mohamed Sesay a Medical Doctor at the Kabala Government Hospital has also just returned from Gabon after winning the Airtel Friendsy promotion.
The Friendsy winners were provided with flight tickets, hotel accommodation and allowance for the trip.
