There has been an accusation by the national publicity secretary for the All People’s Congress (APC), Williams Smith, that his party’s agents were denied access to various polling stations in Kenema district, and that they were also intimidated.
He made this accusation while serving as a guest at the Eastern Radio in Kenema in which he levied various allegations against the SLPP.  But the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), East, has told the press that she has not received any reports of party agents being denied access to or intimidated at polling centres in Kenema.
Mrs. Turay said, “only two cases of multiple voting in the Kenema township have been reported to our office”. She also confirmed a report of someone caught with many voter IDs, which she said was now under investigation.
