The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security and the Kenema City Council have handed over three bicycles and a Victor motorbike to the Ministry staff and commissioned a rice hauler and a dry floor in Kenema.
Mr. John Lahai who is the district Director of Agriculture chaired the ceremony, and thanked the participants especially the staff of the Kenema City Council for the prompt response saying that if such relationships continue the Council will have no doubt in implementing the program.
He further expressed the hope that the Ministry will do its utmost to see that the available equipment and the one motorbike is used in the best interest of the people.
Mr. Emmanuel Sartie who is the Monitoring and Evaluation officer in Kenema City Council thanked the Ministry of Agriculture for a job well done.
The procurement officer of Kenema City Council Addul Faboe who acted in the capacity of the chief administrator, when presenting the keys to Daniel Taylor commended the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security staff in Kenema for the gesture and promised the Council fullest support at all times.
