Africell, one of the leading cell phone companies in the country, has staked a brand new blue Peugeot 207 for its numerous customers to grab for the Leone Stars/ Togo encounter in Freetown next Sunday.
Africell’s new offer, ‘Predict and Win’ which commences June 3, has created an atmosphere in which subscribers can text or call to predict the outcome of the match.
Speaking with the marketing manager, Berlindo Percival Deigh at Africell’s Bathurst Street head office in Freetown, he disclosed that “the company promotes sports, especially football.”
He averred that as the company slogan stated ‘bringing people together’, the ‘Predict and Win’ offer would create an avenue that would bring subscribers together by giving them equal and unlimited chances to win a brand new car.
Mr Deigh explained that the essence of the “Predict and Win” is to give something back to customers, since their monies were being used to support the national team and also to capacitate football in the country.
Explaining how to partake in Africell’s new offer, the marketing manager stated that, “all you need to do is to text or call 131if you think that Sierra Leone is going to win, and 141 if you think Togo is going to win.”
He pointed out that ten units would be extracted from one’s credit for any text or call made.
Mr Deigh further explained that, “one does not need to state the exact score of the match all you need to do is to state who would win”.
Giving a little tip on how to win, he said “the more you register or call the likely your chances are”.
The marketing manager assured that Africell would continue too support the national team and enhance sports in Sierra Leone.
