As part of its continuous effort to bring its subscribers closer, Sierra Leone’s premier mobile telecommunication company, Africell on Wednesday 8th April 2010 presented cash to the tune of Le 8m to subscribers who answered quiz questions correctly during Africell’s Sunday Jamboree on Universal Radio FM 98.7.
12 subscribers received Le500, 000 each for providing correct answers to the12 quiz questions asked during the Sunday Jamboree that was held on 4th April 2010.
The biggest winner was Francis Ngegba with phone number 077-205-066 who won Le 2m in the missing letters game. In this game six different letters are sent to every Africell subscriber across the country and subscribers are required to compile all those six letters and send them via SMS to 2000 as many times as possible to increase ones chance of winning.
In her statement Africell’s Head of Marketing Department Nancy Joseph said the Sunday Jamboree is an innovative way of bringing subscribers closer and also taking the company closer to the subscribers. She added that the Sunday Jamboree has many exciting packages for all Africell subscribers as all those who make phone calls to contribute to the program are rewarded with top up from Africell.
She encouraged all Africell subscribers to take advantage of the promotion and make themselves winners with Africell.
