Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – Africell Sierra Leone earned accolades from Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh for its outstanding commitment to youth empowerment during the 2nd National Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair (NYEEF) held at the Bintumani Conference Centre in Freetown.
The four-day event, organized by the Government of Sierra Leone, showcased Africell’s dedication to innovation and fostering talent.
At the event, the mobile company impressed attendees and dignitaries alike with cutting-edge products, including a 5G experience and PlayStation 5 competitions. Winners of the gaming competition were awarded a prize of Ten Thousand New Leones (Le 10,000), and participants engaging in Afrimoney services had the chance to win attractive prizes through a spin.
During the Vice President’s tour of Africell’s space, he experienced the company’s virtual reality offerings, adding an interactive element to the NYEEF experience.
In an exclusive interview, Shadi Gerjawi, the Managing Director of Africell Sierra Leone Limited, emphasized the significance of NYEEF as a platform bridging employers and potential employees. He highlighted the importance of providing opportunities for individuals to interact with employers, showcase their talents, submit resumes, and establish direct contacts.
