Africell is again set to fascinate its subscribers with another intriguing promotion to be held during the Month of February 2011. The promotion is called ‘Valentine TV and Radio show which will be held daily from the 1st to 28th February, 2011 at 7pm, excluding Thursdays and Sundays.
Explaining the details of the promotion to the media at a Press Conference held at Africell Head Office, Wilberforce the Company’s Corporate Affairs Officer, Joe Abass Bangura said this Valentine promotion is unique as it gives subscribers the opportunity to either call or send SMS to enable their qualification.
Mr. Bangura said the show is divided into two categories. In the first category he said subscribers can call or send an SMS to 777 or 778 and you will be separately and cumulatively registered according to the SMS (777 or 778) sent and calls made. Subscribers will be charged 8 units for every SMS or call made to 777 or 778.
He encouraged subscribers to participate in the promotion when it starts on the 1st February, 2011 adding that there will be attractive prizes and cash worth Millions of Leones to be won.
There will be two sets of Electronic draws; a daily draw for the SMS and CALLS to 777 and a weekly draw on Mondays for which SMS and calls should be made to 778. The Corporate Affairs Manager further stated that subscribers will be called upon to take part in the creative games live on SLBC TV and radio stations across the country.
