Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – The Africaribean in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, has on 1st and 2nd January 2023 undertaken a street parade interaction festival to unveil murals for the Commemoration of their activities.
The street parade was held along Lumley and Aberdeen beach road where the murals were erected by the National Tourist Board in Freetown.
In her statement during the unveiling of the Murals, the Minister of Tourism Memunatu Pratt appreciated President Bio for giving the Ministry the relevance it deserves and appreciated all those that made the festival achievable.
She said the mural will serve educational purposes for parents who bring their children to the beach. She furthered the edifice will boost the public education campaign to teach the history of Sierra Leone. She however called on citizens to make use of the mural and broaden their knowledge about the history of Sierra Leone. AJ/7/1/2023
