Freetown, SIERRA LEONE, – African Fashion International (AFI) will be celebrating its 15th anniversary with AFI Fashion Week Joburg from the 7th-19th November 2022 in Sandton, South Africa.
During the event, the best designers in Africa will be showcasing their latest collections. It will be a retail-focused fashion week, with designs available straight off the runway for purchase. This will be the first AFI Fashion Week hosted within South African borders this year, after AFI showcased in Abu Dhabi and Kasane, Botswana, earlier this year. It will be a two-night showcase featuring the latest collections of leading Pan-African designers. African Fashion International (AFI) was established as part of an unequivocal determination to propel and restore refined African fashion brands on the global stage.
The event will commence with the AFI Master class, featuring some of the most trusted voices and creatives in the fashion industry. This season’s theme is “Trends 2023: Fashion, Tech, Life, and Business.”
