All around the world, 56 nations, including Sierra Leone, are deep in preparation to attend the 6th Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup from 1-7 December in Australia.
As the international tournament goes from strength to strength, the Homeless World Cup Foundation has now been set up to support and develop grassroot football programmes to engage one million players who are homeless and excluded in 75 nations by 2012.
Tournament organizers are also looking for the high energy, talented, ambitious, creative visionaries out there with a passion to make a difference.
“We are also busy fundraising to enable teams from economically poorer nations to participate in Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup,” one organizer said.
