As the long awaited elective congress starts today 49 delegates countrywide will determine who will lead Sierra Leone football for the next four years.
The delegates who will be voting come Saturday will either make or destroy the game as this elective congress is very crucial and important at this time in the history of Sierra Leone football.
Majority of the stakeholders were the same people who voted about four years ago in Makeni and elected the present executive to power. They will be the same people again to either remove them or give them a second chance after their performances have been reviewed as to what impact they made during their time in office.
Many sports personalities who do not have voting rights are appealing to the stakeholders to vote for the development of the game and the country as we have now moved up in the FIFA ranking.
The Deputy Minister of Sports Dr Jah in a consultative meeting with the delegates has taken the same line by appealing to them to vote for the right person and not for material gain come Saturday.
