The assistant team manager of Blackpool Football club James Fofanah as told Awoko that four players from Ports Authority Football Club is expected to joined Blackpool ahead of the new premier league season.
He stated that two of the players Pa Sallieu and Ibrahim Kargbo decided to return to their former club because they want to be successful, and they have already started training with the team.
He said they will do every possible to ensure that all four of them sign for Blackpool soonest as they are quality players that can bring success to the club in the coming season.
He also mentioned that apart from the four players, they have also secured Kellie Jalloh from FC Kallon and two players from relegated Mount Auroel Galaxy.
The assistant manager with optimism said with the caliber of players they are going to sign will make them build a formidable side that will challenge for the trophy. This are the signs that we are prepared to win this year’s premier league.
He stated that with the caliber of players that they will sign it is a sign that they are prepared to win the coming Salone Premier league which is expected to start next month.
He also disclosed that the team will be off loading eight players as their services are no longer needed and they can join any club of their choice.
Responding to the claim, the Secretary General of the Ports Authority Football club Idriss Tawarallay (Mago) said that they have not receive any request from Blackpool for the said players, which means the players still belong to Ports Authority.
