A Senior Secondary School pupil Abdul Karim Kamara of the Ahmadiyya Muslim secondary school was on Friday sentenced to 2 years jail term by Magistrate Adrian Fischer of the Freetown Court No 1A.
He was sentenced after he was remanded for two weeks in police custody on a charge of conspiracy to commit felony and receiving stolen goods on the 22 February 2008 in Kissy.
Delivering judgment, Magistrate Fischer said that the accused did not show any compunction for the court adding that the accused denied his statement he made to the police.
The presiding Magistrate said, “I deem it fit for Abdul Karim Koroma to take a break in Prison for two years and when he would have served his sentence he will regained his senses.”
He pointed out that as a school boy he should not be having a criminal brain.
