The Sierra Leone Table Tennis Association held a three-day Umpire Course, which started on Wednesday 13 November 2019 at the Table Tennis Complex National Stadium. It ended on Friday 15 November 2019. The Instructor or Expert, Mohammed Bassyoni, in his statement gave an overview of the course and the positive response he got from the participants during the course. He said out of the thirty-five participants that took the examination at the end of the course. Only twenty five (25) passed. He appealed to them to make good use of their Certificates and expressed thanks to the Executives, especially the President, for making the course a successful one. I hope to come back in Sierra Leone for another training or course. The President of the Association Obi Frazer who admonish the Participants on the Nature and Benefit of the Course. He told the Participants that there are more Courses for them. He appealed to the participants to make good use of their Certificates.

The Deputy Director of Sports who represented the Ministry and the National Sports Authority expressed thanks to the instructor and the Executive Members for a job well done. He appealed to the Participants not to turn their Certificates to pillow but make good use by educating others that are unfortunate to take the course. He congratulated them and wishes them well in their endeavors. The Course was sponsored by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
