Two Sierra Leonean players, Ibrahim Tetteh and Mohamed Poborsky Bangura were part of the former Swedish Champions, AIK squad that traveled to Antalya, Turkey, in preparation for their Allsvenkan season.
They are in Turkey with their teammates for a weeklong training camp where they will undergo training and several test matches on natural grass.
AIK full squad includes their new Sierra Leonean acquisition, Ibrahim Tetteh Bangura and the club’s last season top goal scorer Mohamed Bangura. The Sierra Leonean players made the list of the AIK’s A-team.
The Turkey training session will also be an added advantage for the two players after they were both named by the Leone Stars’ Swedish Coach, Olaf Mattsson on a list of 21 professionals ahead of the this month’s Nations Cup qualifier against Niger in Niamey.
