As the time for the All Africa Games approaches, two athletes from the Judo Association that will represent the country in the All Africa Games are training with 18 others from the French judo expert, Hassenes Ikhlef, at the Judo Academy in Bo. The President of the Association, Idrissa Massaquoi, said he was impressed so far the ways in which the two athletes are responding by learning new skills ahead of the Games. He said this training has put them in a very good shape for the competition.

He stated that the expert from France, Ikhlef, is up to the task as he makes the training more competitive and interactive as the participants were focused since the start of the training. Both athletes, Fredrick Harris and Christian Bangura, said that they hope to do their best during the Games as they have learned new things and are going to put it to action during the Games. The training is expected to end on Wednesday 14 August 201,9 at the National Stadium in Freetown.
