The victim claimed on 27 February 2019, in the Koffu Bullom Chiefdom, Tintafor Lungi, her mother and her brother accused her of stealing Le150,000. She said even though she denied the allegation, her brother started beating her. As she was running away, she fell over some burning coals. The victim said her brother held her and tied her hand and legs. He then pushed her hands into the burning coals. She said her mother did nothing to save her from her brother even though she was present. Delivering the ruling on Friday, the Magistrate noted that the victim will no longer use her hands effectively.
