The Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Kick Boxing -Muaythai Association Edward Kaili has disclosed to Awoko Sports that 16 Kick boxers are going to fight in a trial to select the Kick boxers that will be representing the country in the first Kick boxing Championship to be held in Yaoundé, Cameroon next month.
He also mentioned that the trial will take place at the Josben Complex at Brookfield in Freetown. There will be eight fights and one exhibition fight and the winners in the respective fights will represent the country in the competition
He also mentioned that this is the first time that Sierra Leone will be taking a team to such a competition and those Kick boxers who will represent the country will be an eye opener as they are going to exhibit their skills in the competition
He also stated that the president of the association Joseph Kanu has provided the kits for the trial and also for the competition in Cameroon.
He also stated that President Kanu is doing his best to make sure that they attend the competition in Cameroon also praised him for taking his time to train the Kick boxers.
He also praised the Director of Sports Bai Kabia for his contribution he has made towards and the association which have be blessing to them
He described the Director of Sports as man that wants Kick boxing to develop in the country and he is doing everything possible to achieve that.
