Eleven Parliamentarians are yet to declare their assets to the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) as stipulated in Sub Section 6 of Section 119 of the ACC Act No 12 of 2008 as required by law.
The eleven are: Hon. Musa Tamba Sam – Mandu, Constituency Number 3 – Kailahun District
Hon. Sam-May Lamin Macarthy – Malema, Constituency Number 5 – Kailahun District
Hon. Momoh Pujeh – Constituency Number 8 – Kailahun District
Hon. Dr. Mourie B. Kamanda – Constituency Number 15 – Kenema District
Hon. Ibrahim Martin Bangura – Makarie Gbanti, Constituency Number 31 – Bombali District
Hon. Philip T. Tondoneh – Nimikor Chiefdom, Constituency Number 24 – Kono District
Others include; Hon. K.E.S Boyah -Constituency Number 26 – Kono District
Hon. Albert Mac-Bailey – Constituency Number 79 – Bonthe District
Hon. Thomas Idrisa Mansaray -Constituency Number 78 – Bonthe District
Hon. P.C Victor C.D Kebbie – Pujehun District and
Hon. Babtunde Lewally – Constituency 104 – Western Area Urban
However the ACC Commissioner could not be reached for what action he intends taking on the defaulting Parliamentarians, but most people Awoko spoke too expressed their shock and dismay over the attitude of the Parliamentarians of whom much is expected.
