The Project Manager of African Minerals Mohamed Bayoh has disclosed to the Press that preparations are on the way for the employment of about 10,000 people to work at the Marampa mines.
He also said very soon the company shall start its training programmes for workers at the mines whilst disclosing that the company shall involve in portal rail that will be doing all shipments and also the mining of iron ore.
He further explained that since the company started operations in Marampa a group named action group for development had been accusing them that they were involved in scrap metal sales.
What he said he told them was that no scrap metal was met by African Minerals at the mines as all had been sold by groups in the chiefdom.
He called on the group to be contemplating on developmental issues for the improvement of the chiefdom rather than striving for their personal aggrandizement.
