An alleged female rape victim (name withheld) yesterday told the Justice Bankole Thompson Commission of Inquiry that it was Idrissa Kamara (Leather boot) that invited men to rape them.
She testified that on March 16th, 2009, the day of the fracas between the SLPP and APC supporters, Leather boot broke into the SLPP canteen with an axe and at that time she and others were hiding in one of the toilets in the canteen.
She further disclosed that when Leatherboot caught her, he referred to her as a prostitute.
The alleged rape victim told the Commission that she was working at the canteen on that fateful day and that when she had finished in the kitchen she served her customers and on her return, she met some people throwing stones.
She continued that when the stone throwing heightened, they moved out of the kitchen and hid in the bar of the canteen.
She also told the Commission that when Leather boot entered the canteen, he was armed with a pistol and a knife and there were other people with him that went to help themselves with the drinks in the canteen.
The alleged victim claimed that the son of Foday Government Wharf attempted to rape her but faced resistance and when he could not, she said she was wrestled and the attempted rapist called a boy to rape her.
