One of the best managers this country has produced in terms of football Joe Blell has disclosed at the presidential lounge of the national stadium during the manifesto night of the dream team that he will return back to football if the dream team win the coming congress election.
He said the dream team has something to offer to this nation and with the caliber of people they will achieve their goal at all times because of the vision they have for the game of football to grow nationally and internationally.
He went further that as football fans we need to say the fact if the game of football is to develop in the country. He cited an example over the radio saying the other day I was listenening when somebody was saying that Dr Bangso wants to be president of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) but he cannot manage Old Edwardians football club very well.
Blell said when he heard about that he wanted to react but decided not to do so, because people will say that they are brothers so he wants to defend him.
He disclosed that when the current president of SLFA Nahim Kadi abandoned Old Edwardians for Lions middle of the season he and doctor Bangura took over the team.
Blell stated that the most successful period in Old Edwardians football club was when he and Dr Bangura managed the team.  He said they were in Old Edwardians for eight years and they qualified the team for international competitions and during that period there were chances for scouts to see the players that is why the continental competitions are very important for clubs Blell emphasised.
