Coach Abu Sankoh one of the two coaches who received their grade A coaching certificate from the German Ambassador Rolf Saligmann at the Germany Embassy at their middle hill station office in Freetown said he felt proud to receive such a certificate after two years after the course.
Coach Sankoh said that he wants to thank Rodney Michael of the Dream team who made it possible for them to have their certificate.
The other coach who benefited from the coaching course was Alimamy Turay of Bo. In his own contribution he said that he feels very happy because after doing something it is very good for somebody to have their reward that is what has happened and he is very happy.
He went further to thank everyone who made their trip to Germany a reality like the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and the Sports Council.
He stated that their certificate came about two years ago but there was no stakeholder to receive it on their behalf and when they contacted them the file was misplaced. It was when Rodney Michael decided to come on board that they were able to receive their certificate.
Before presenting the certificate to the two coaches Ambassador Rolf Saligmann said that they were happy that they too as a country can contribute a little to improve coach’s standard in the country.
During the 25 days course the coaches were able to learn different topics like the reflection on the development of football. Task of the football coach and several other topics were also dealt with.
