One of Leone Stars’ sensational strikers, Mustapha Bangura (Haji) who plays for Omonia of Cyprus is now looking forward to his team’s encounter against Man City in the UEFA FA Cup, slated for the 18th of this month in Cyprus with the first and the second legs, to be played in England on the 2nd October.
Mohamed Bangura, commonly called ‘Haji’, was very instrumental in his team’s performance over their opponent, AEK of Greece, when they eliminated them [AEK of Greece] from the competition by a 3-2 aggregate in the first leg. AEK of Greece were defeated at home by a lone goal.
The second leg ended in a two all draw to see Hajji’s team into the next stage of the competition. According to the player, they are well prepared and are looking forward to the match against Man City.
‘Haji’ became a household name in Cyprus due to his pivotal role in his team, and he is believed to be one of the best African players in the Cyprus league where he has created serious impact.
Due to his outstanding performance in previous matches with the national team at home, [Sierra Leone], ‘Haji’ has been called by the technical staff of the national team to play against Equatorial Guinea this weekend in Freetown.
