The Victory Evangelistic Ministries will come up with their second edition of “return to sender” crusade slated for January 14-18 at the National Stadium main bowl.
Before the start of the competition there will be a lantern parade that will comprise six different areas including Congo Town, Fire Stone and a host of other areas.
The founder of the ministry, evangelist Buck, said over 480 churches had been invited for the crusade and that the last meeting for the crusade would be held on Saturday.
Evangelist Buck stated that they were coming once every year to bring Sierra Leoneans together, adding that last year’s “return to sender” crusade was a success and that during that period they were able to invite all the political parties as the elections were some months away.
He maintained that for last year’s crusade they spent 59 million Leones but received 13 million Leones as offerings.
Evangelists Buck said, “during this second edition we are going to spend about 80 million and 40 bags of rice will be distributed each day to the poor.”
