One of Sierra Leone’s young outstanding female Cricket Player, Adama Kamara of Government Rokel Secondary School has disclosed to Awoko Sports that she needs sponsorship if she is to excel in sports.
She disclosed that to engage in sports in Sierra Leone without having any sponsorship is very difficult if one should succeed.
She said that due to the lack of sponsorship, she has decided to concentrate on Cricket, and leave other sporting disciplines like Football and Athletics.
She intimated that since she started playing cricket she has learnt a lot from some of the coaches.
Adama Kamara expressed hope that the Authorities would take female cricket to the Schools, as she intends to continue playing cricket up to international level if she has the support.
Hence she is appealing to Companies and private individuals to come on board and assist her as she pursues her sporting career.
