Leone Stars international, Mustapha Haji Bangura has said he will like to play with Ghanaian international, Junior Agogo who has just joined him at Apollon Limassol in Cyprus and he has welcome him whole heartedly to the team
The sierra Leone International said that he welcomes the news as and he now believe that they can score more goals playing alongside the Ghanaian International who is angry for goals with such a player he his going to motivate the other players.
He is a well experienced professional player that he hopes to learn in the coming years.
The Sierra Leonean International has already, started establishing himself as a key striker with the team, having started in all their pre-season matches and scoring three goals.
“He is a well experienced professional player and I hope to learn from him,” Haji said.
The Ghanaian striker, 30, signed a two-year contract with the Cypriot side last Wednesday, and the deal means the Ghanaian striker ends a frustrating time of his career after a futile venture into African football with Egyptian giants Zamalek last summer.
Agogo will wear number 23 while Haji is currently playing with the 22 jersey.
The Ghanaian fell out with the Cairo club in May after he was accused of being indifferent towards the club and handed huge fines. The player later asked the world governing body, FIFA to intervene in the impasse and Zamalek then terminated his contract.
Last season he was playing in El Zamalek (Egypt) and during his career he played for Sheffield Wednesday, Oldham Athletic, Chester City, Chesterfield, Lincoln City, QPR, Barnet, Bristol Rovers and Nottingham Forest.
