The head coach of Mighty Blackpool football club Christian Cole has disclosed to Awoko Sports that he is going for a win in Sunday’s match against one of their arch rivals Ports Authority in the going Salone Premier League at the National Stadium in Freetown.
He said he has prepared his boys for the match and they are going for nothing but to secure their first win in the league
Coach Cole said that they drew their two matches played so far in the league due to bad luck on their side as the team played well but they had poor finishing. He said he has been working very hard on the boys and he is sure they will use their new skills.
For this particular match on Sunday two of the old players who were not part of the squad in their first two matches will come onboard to play alongside the new players in the team and it is hoped this will make a difference during the match. He described the performance of the boys as improving gradually because it is a young side with a lot of talented players. Coach Cole disclosed that Ports Authority is a good side and not a push over that is why they are going to the match with all seriousness and focus as their opponent too will be going for a win since they have lost one and drawn one.
The match is expected to be exciting and thrilling.
In the other Premier league matches over the weekend Wusum Stars will host Mount Aureol Galaxy in Magburaka. Mount Aureol Galaxy who drew their first match is desperate for a win. Wusum Stars on their part is also going all out for a first win as they also failed to win against Golden Dragons.

The head coach of Central Parade Derrick Boison said they are going to win the match and secure another three vital points from their opponent FC Kallon who also won their first match against Ports Authority.
