Egyptian Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Mahmoud Ezzat has expressed concern over the state of a baby who was born with abnormal bladder.
The child with a bladder exposing at the abdomen, was earlier sent to Ghana by Pikin Biznes- [a charity that aid kids in critical medical conditions] – but unfortunately little could be done.
Ambassador Ezzat has promised the Charity that he would ensure that the child gets treatment from the best pediatric surgeons in Egypt.
On Friday a cross-section of the Pikin Biznes Charity called on the Egyptian Ambassador; and he assured them that he would do all his best to find a “good doctor” for the baby.
“I asked them to find an appropriate doctor,” the emissary intimated, adding that the child is his own baby.
The Diplomat explained that he had sent all the relevant documents to Egypt, “I’m waiting for the reply for a specialist,” he disclosed.
He also reveled that the process would take approximately one month; but however assured that if the reply is delayed, he would fast-track the process by sending more correspondences.
